The festivities will be held in Puerto Iguazú and Foz de Iguazú in Brazil and will include a fashion show and special promotions to visit the Iguazu Falls.
Minister of Tourism of Misiones, José María Arrúa, said during the announcement of the celebrations that “the participation of the private sector is very important” and stated that the activities to be held to celebrate this event “include strong promotion campaigns in the city Of Buenos Aires, one of the main destinations emitted for the Falls “.
Arrúa said that promotional campaigns “will also intensify in social networks, which increasingly have a greater impact on tourists,” and said that for that reason the portfolio in charge “works to establish a more finished profile of tourists who Arrive to Puerto Iguazú “.
Finally, the Minister of Tourism explained that “the festivities will be simultaneous in the seven attractions spread throughout the world” and said that this circumstance “generates a very important communicative synergy for the promotion of Iguazu Falls as a tourist destination.”
